If you’re stuck in the Bay for spring break and looking for cool things to do, here’s a day by day of fun things to do in the Bay during your break.
Saturday April 4th:
If you’re interested in artisan crafts, or a new vintage piece for summer, Makers Row is the perfect place for you. The outdoor market gives you a unique and personal way to shop this spring season with its local crafts and handmade designs.
Sunday April 5th:
If shopping’s not your thing, try adventuring outside and taking a hike at the Sibley Volcanic Regional Preserve. With its beautiful views of the Wildcat Canyon, and its calming atmosphere, the Volcanic Preserve is a great place to relieve stress from school with your friends.

Monday April 6th:
Learn how to make perfume right in Berkeley by taking a class at Scents by the Bay. Take your friends and book a class to create a signature scent that’s custom made only for you.
Tuesday April 7th:
The Golden Gate National Recreation Area offers the ultimate beach bonfire experience. Take your friends over to Ocean Beach and snag one of their designated fire rings to enjoy ocean views, and a smores at the beach.

Wednesday April 8th:
Also in San Francisco, is the Salesforce Park. For a fun day in the city, visit the on-site cafe, and enjoy being seventy feet above Mission street with the thirteen distinct botanical gardens the park offers.

Thursday April 9th:
Visit the Japanese Tea Garden for a taste away from home this break. With breathtaking scenery and cold refreshments, the Japanese Tea Garden makes the perfect getaway when you’re stuck in the Bay.

Friday April 10th:
Before break ends, try Whiskerwood Haven in San Francisco for a relaxing cafe experience with cat friends. Play with the adoptable cats while you chat with friends. Going to the cafe not only helps that iced coffee craving, but your visit helps their furry friends find homes.
Saturday April 11th:
Try a one time poetry class at Oakland’s Clayroom, to make the perfect spring vase. Book a class and go with your friends and enjoy learning the poetry wheel, and learn step by step how to make something from a craft almost twenty thousand years old.
Sunday April 12th:
To put a calming end to your break in the bay, try the West Wind drive in. The drive in theater offers you that 1950’s movie experience, so just drive up and tune your radio to the designated station and enjoy the movie. Though it’s a bit of a drive, the Concord theater offers an old timey movie experience that you won’t forget.
