Women’s Tennis crushes Holy Names 6-0

On Tuesday, September 23, the women’s tennis team beat Holy Names in a home game 6-0. The junior doubles team, Elaine Fang and Chloe Drulis, quickly won two sets with scores 6-0, 6-1, putting a swift end to their match. Sophomore doubles Jackie Hoe and Zoe Kritikos also did exceptionally well, winning 6-0, 6-0.
The team’s singles players were no less victorious. Both Gloria Chen and Alex Brown emerged victoriously with scores of 6-0, 6-0, Angela Zhuo triumphed in a 6-1, 6-1 match, and Emily Chan brought up the rear in a close win: 6-3, 7-6.
The women’s tennis team is currently undefeated, and will hopefully maintain their winning streak throughout the rest of the season. Watch them play Thursday, Oct. 3, in a home game against St. Joseph’s. Go Cougars!
