Solano Stroll this Sunday!
Albany’s 33rd annual Solano Stroll is happening this Sunday! Featuring 100 entertainers, 65 food booths, 120 juried crafts, and 200 community organizations, it is quite the exciting event. As tradition demands, it will start at 8am with the pancake breakfast at the Veterans’ Memorial Park, followed by the parade and opening of booths at 10 a.m. This year’s theme is Going Green – it’s easy!
Albany High’s own chorale is playing at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. near 1320 Solano Avenue, and Rhythm Bound will be performing at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. near 1501 Solano Ave.
The Cougar will follow up with postgame coverage and photos of the event. Stay tuned.
