Seniors discipline juniors in boys’ volleyball final

Senior Philip Peterson spikes the ballThe senior-junior rivalry brought its rage to the court for the last time Thursday at lunch for the boys’ volleyball final.

The deciding match was organized as a best two-out-of-three contest, which the seniors won in two straight games.

In the first game, the juniors started strong, jumping out to an early lead. It was the seniors, however, that came back strong, pulling away for a 15-10 win.

Game two also went the seniors’ way, ending with a 15-8 score.

The senior team worked fluently. Their killer combo had Florian Geiger passing deftly to Ohad Gilberg, who routed it to Brandyn Adney for many brilliant spikes. Both teams played exceptionally well and exhibited good sportsmanship.
