No Respect for Class of 2007

Senior Junna Murakawa looks defeated after his team's lossIn the Homecoming Boys Volleyball, class of 2009 sophomores served the class of 2007 seniors a surprise defeat with a 5-4 win seconds after the bell. Both sides had won one game out of three and a “first to five” tie-breaker was called to finish the game. Class of 2008 Juniors and 2010 freshmen joined the sophomores in a “Beat 07” cheer after finishing their game.

“They fixed the games all the other years, and now that it’s our turn, they just forget,” one frustrated senior said. Perhaps the game fixer just didn’t show up.

As expected, the Juniors beat the Freshmen in a two-game sweep.

  1. go 08!

  2. should we just root against our grade? so 07 can win?

  3. Meh.

  4. it was fixed in previous years? Well wouldnt you rather win fair and square then by cheating?

  5. It just sucks that 08 is trying to take over our senior year. They’ve always tried to take over and they’ve always been stupid and this year is no different.

They may be the loudest, but they have the least respect.

  6. i don’t understand how all these underclassmen think they can just come and show up the seniors. for all the past years the underclassmen knew their place and knew that seniors win everything during homecoming… its just understood. and to all you underclassmen who are trying to show seniors up, just wait until you are a senior and your homecoming is ruined by stupid underclassmen.

  7. cant we all just love eachother and get along/ PEACE is the solution!!!…lol>

  8. Juz because we have class spirit doesn’t mean that we are going to let other people win because they are seniors. If 07 wants to win so bad.. Try harder.

  9. Thanks for the enlightening conversation.
