Maine Caucus Updates
7:45 P.M. - Final results are in, Obama won about 60% to 40%, netting 15 delegates to Clinton’s 9 according to Obama advisor David Stouffe. This was enough to move Obama into a 3 delegate overall lead, according to Realclearpolitics, and a 77 delegate lead if you don’t count superdelegates.
3:00 P.M. - Obama maintains his 57-42 lead with 60% of precincts reporting, and it’s pretty much called now.
2:50 P.M. - Gardiner and Manchester both just went for Obama, taking 73% in Gardiner and 72% in Manchester.
2:36 P.M. - Madison has gone for Clinton, 65-25. 73% of Northport went for Obama according to a commenter. Note, it’s Madison, Maine, not Madison Wisconsin.
2:33 P.M. - The New York Times has finally begun updating results, with 44% of the precincts in Obama has 57% of the vote to Clinton’s 42%.
2:20 P.M. - The results continue to trickle in. Obama won 74% of the Farmington vote and won the “industry democrats” vote 12-10. Does nobody live in Maine?
1:47 P.M. - Hillary Clinton has axed her campaign manager, Solis Doyle, in favor of Maggie Williams. This was rumored to be happening if she lost New Hampshire, but when she won New Hampshire they decided to keep Doyle on until now. This kills the hope many Clinton supporters had of her hiring James Carville, Paul Begala, Joel Johnson, George Stephanopoulos, and Joe Lockhart, Bill Clinton’s 1992 advisors.
1:41 P.M. - The miniscule town of Lee, Maine just cast its votes for Obama, 11 to 9, they are the fourth city with available results.
1:30 P.M. - Yarmouth, Fairfield, and Cape Elizabeth have all gone to Obama thus far, with him getting 78% of the vote in Yarmouth, 51% of the vote in Fairfield, and 72% of the vote in Cape Elizabeth. These are the only places that have counted thus far as far as I can tell.

From the Northport Town Caucus: there were 84 people, and 88 votes (4 absentee); 64 cast for Obama and 24 for Clinton. The proportional delegates are 3-1 for Obama at 72%. Someone who was there tells me that at the outset, a lot of independent voters were registering as democrats.
