Block B Schedule

General

1. The library will be closed today during 4th Period due to testing.

2. The Red Cross Thanks you for your donations to the hurricane victims.

2. Attention AHS French students: We are planning another trip to
France! There will be an informational meeting this Thursday at lunch in
Room 208…. See Ms. Kaiser if you are not able to attend for
information about a parent meeting. The trip is open to all current and
former AHS French students.

5. IM Flag Football — playing today, A.L.B. Bad Boyz vs Tyranosaurus “X”

6. Today’s lunch menu: BRC Burrito, BBQ Chicken Pizza, Chicken Fajita
Salad & Meatball Sandwich

7. Deadline to sign up for singles badminton tournament today at lunch
in the gym.

College/Career

1. College visits this week - Today: Mills College, 8:45; Thurs. 9/18:
UC Santa Barbara, 1:35; Fri., 9/19, Stony Brook University, 11:30. Sign
up in the Counseling Office at least one day in advance; teacher’s
permission is required. See Ms Sumberg, who is replacing Ms Burns in the
Counseling Office for the next few months, with questions.

2. Seniors planning on applying to UC’s, CSU’s or Private Colleges -
plan on attending the evening “College Application Process Workshop”
next Thursday, Sept. 25th from 7:00 - 8:30 PM in the theater. This is
for both senior students and their parents. AHS Counseling Department

Clubs/Team Announcements

1. MATH CLUB - TODAY - LUNCH - RM. 312 - we will be discussing our plans
for this year

2. DANCE 4 CHARITY CLUB - TODAY - LUNCH - RM. 304 - come sign up & hear
about this year’s plans

3. EARTH TEAM - TODAY - LUNCH - RM. 302

4. All boys interested in playing soccer this year should attend a
meeting Thursday, beg. lunch, Rm. 106.

5. CHEM CLUB - FRIDAY - LUNCH - RM. 303 - Re: Club Rush Day & elect officers

6. Key Club meeting today at lunch in Rm. 211
