Block B Schedule

General

1. Homecoming Dance tickets will be sold a week from today on Oct. 7th
– Oct 10th after school only.
You MUST have a completed dance agreement form when you purchase your
ticket. Guest passes are due by Oct. 9th and MUST be signed by Ms. Woods
in the attendance office before you can purchase a ticket.
NO EXCEPTIONS!

2. The library will be closed during 6th period on Friday October 3rd
and will not be open after school on Friday.

3. Attention AHS French students who want to go to France. Please pick
up an invitation for your parents to attend an evening meeting next week
about our trip to France. See Ms. Kaiser in Room 208 for the letter to
your parents. The trip is open to all current and former AHS French
students.

4. CHALLENGE DAY PLANNING MEETING - Room 104, lunchtime, Thursday!

5. Today’s lunch menu: Lasagna, BBQ Chicken Pizza, Chicken Fajita Salad
& Meatball Sandwich

1. College visits: *Today, Hofstra U., 8am, Yale U., 1:55pm; Friday,
10/3, Tufts U., 9am.

2. Seniors applying to the University of California should attend the
lunchtime UC Workshop in the Little Theater this Thursday for tips and
information about the application process.

Clubs/Team Announcements

1. MATH CLUB - TODAY - LUNCH - RM. 312 - bring signed field trip
permission forms

2. EARTH TEAM - TODAY - LUNCH - RM. 302 - NEW MEMBERS WELCOME!

3. MODEL U.N. CLUB - TODAY - LUNCH - RM. 18 - mandatory for students
attending Stanford conference.

4. Best Buddies Party - Thursday, October 2nd, Lunchtime, Room 219

5. If interested in playing on this year’s Men’s Soccer team, please
come to a meeting Thursday, lunch, Rm. 209.

6. Wrestling — If you missed last weeks sign up meeting see Coach
Bankson as soon as possible.

7. AHS TRANSPORTATION INITIATIVE CLUB - FRIDAY - LUNCH - RM. 217
