Block A Schedule

General

1. Pictures are here. Please come to the attendance office and see Ms.
Woods lunch or after school ONLY.

2. Trip to Spain and Portugal in the planning process. Come to Rm. 215
at lunch today.

3. Freshman: There will be a meeting at the beginning of lunch today in
Rm. 312 food eating and lip sync; and a meeting in Rm. 205 at lunch on
Wednesday for volunteers to help with events.

4. Student Tutors: Please turn your application forms in ASAP this week.
I will be making up the list and need to have your form if you want to
be on it. If you’d like to be a tutor and missed the meeting, see Ms.
Sumberg in the Counseling Office to get an application form.

5. Intra-Mural Football: playing today — Tuna Can Sam’s vs Tyranosaurus “X”

6. Today’s lunch menu: Lasagna, Orange Chicken Rice, Chicken Garden
Salad & Chicken Ranch Burrito

College/Career

1. College visits this week: Thursday, 9/25, Academy of Art, 9:20. Sign
up in the Counseling Office at least one day in advance; teacher’s
permission is required. See Ms. Sumberg in the Counseling Office with
questions.

2. Seniors planning on applying to UC’s, CSU’s or Private Colleges -
plan on attending the evening “College Application Process Workshop”
Thursday, Sept. 25th from 7:00 - 8:30 PM in the Little Theater. This is
for both senior students and their parents. AHS Counseling Department

Clubs/Team Announcements

1. WRESTLING SIGN UP MEETING FRIDAY, 12:00, WRESTLING ROOM. COME IF
INTERESTED!

2. AMNESTY INT’L. - TODAY - LUNCH - RM. 215

3. LEO’S CLUB - TODAY - LUNCH - RM. 110

4. MODEL UN CLUB NO MEETING WEDNESDAY. CHECK THE WEB SITE FOR IMPORTANT
ANNOUNCEMENTS ABOUT UP COMING CLUB ACTIVITIES.

Faculty

1. Please excuse the Women’s Tennis Team @ 2:45pm today.

2. Please release the following golfers at 2pm today: NaRa Pak, Joy Kim,
Mari Yamato, Alicia Lee, Kiyomi Doty, Emily Sun & Nina Waloewandja
