Block A Schedule
General
1. Advisory Reps: One rep from each advisory, please come down to the
main school lobby after the Bulletin is read on Wed, Career Day, to get
the Career Day tickets for your advisory.
2. Don’t forget to bring cans for the AHS Canned Food Drive. Drop off in
your advisory class or if you want a baked goodie, reduced winter ball
ticket (10 cans) a free winter ball ticket (60 cans) bring to the
courtyard at lunch this Thursday and Friday.
3. Today’s lunch menu: Deli Sandwiches, BRC Burrito, Orange Chicken Rice
& Chicken Garden Salad
4. I-M Soccer - playing today: NFP’s vs Evan Schwartz’s Team. Not too
late to sign up. Rosters due Wed, 11/19.
5. Wednesday, Nov. 19th — Career Day Schedule
7:40am - 8:47am — 2nd Period
8:52am - 9:59am — 4th Period
9:59am - 10:09am — Break
10:14am - 10:33am — Advisory

2. Juniors! Hosana Thomas, a former AHS student and current sophomore at
Cal, will meet with interested juniors today during 7th. period in Rm. 201.

2. MATH CLUB - TODAY - LUNCH - RM. 312 - CML CONTEST
3. AMNESTY INT’L - TODAY - LUNCH - RM. 215 - everyone wear black for
today’s photo. We will be discussing film screening
4. BOOK DISCUSSION - TODAY - LUNCH - LIBRARY - Nov. is historical
fiction month. All welcome!
5. HAPA CLUB - TODAY - LUNCH - RM. 206
6. CML - TODAY - LUNCH - RM. 312
7. NUTS & BOLTS - TODAY - LUNCH - RM. 310 - re: current issues as well
as future
8. BASEBALL TEAMS meet today at lunch time in Rm. 315. Mandatory!
9. MODEL U.N. will meet and have a potluck on Wed., Nov. 19th during
lunch in Rm. 18
10. Mathletes competition Wednesday, after school. Meet in front of
school at 3:15pm
11. WORLD CONNECTION CLUB - THURS. - LUNCH - RM. 208 - don’t forget your
pen-pal letters!
12. BEST BUDDIES Thanksgiving Day Potluck Wed., lunch, Rm. 219. - Sign
up for a dish to bring outside Rm. 219.
13. Wrestling - Anyone interested in being a stat for this year’s
wrestling team, please attend a signup meeting Friday during lunch in
the wrestling room.
14. The following club officers need to see Ms. Salas in the bookroom
regarding PTSA mini grant money: Badminton Club.
Faculty
1. Important: No Advisory Passes Wed, 11/19. It is Career Day and
students MUST be in their own advisory class in order to get their
tickets for their Career Day presentations. Please do not let students
leave and go to another advisory.
Also, please send your advisory rep to the main lobby to get the
envelope with your students’ tickets immediately after the Bulletin
