Block A Schedule
General
1. Homecoming Dance tickets will be sold next week after school only.
You MUST have a completed dance agreement form when you purchase your
ticket. Guest passes are due by Oct. 9th and MUST be signed by Ms. Woods
in the attendance office before you can purchase a ticket. NO EXCEPTIONS!
2. The library will be closed during 6th period on Friday October 3rd
and will not be open after school.
3. Attention AHS French students who want to go to France. Please pick
up an invitation for your parents to attend an evening meeting next week
about our trip to France. See Ms. Kaiser in Room 208 for the letter to
your parents. The trip is open to all current and former AHS French
students.
4. CHALLENGE DAY PLANNING MEETING - Room 104, lunchtime, Today!
5. Come support the Women’s Tennis team today @ Memorial vs St. Joseph
6. Today’s lunch menu: Teriyaki Chicken Wrap, Chicken Garden Salad,
Tacos & Fried Chicken & Fries

7:40 - 9:15 — 2nd Period
9:15 - 9:25 — Break
9:30 - 11:05 — 4th Period
11:10 - 11:50 — Advisory
11:50 - 12:35 — Lunch
12:40 - 2:15 — 6th Period
College/Career
1. College visits: Friday, 10/3, Tufts U., 9am.
2. Students applying to the California State University should attend
the CSU Workshop in the Little Theater at lunchtime this Friday for
application tips and information.
Clubs/Team Announcements
1. YOUNG REPUBLICANS CLUB - TODAY - LUNCH - RM. 219
2. Best Buddies Party — TODAY, Lunchtime, Room 219
3. If interested in playing on this year’s Men’s Soccer team, come to a
meeting Today, lunch, Rm. 209.
4. Wrestling — If you missed last weeks sign up meeting see Coach
Bankson as soon as possible.
5. AHS TRANSPORTATION INITIATIVE CLUB - FRIDAY - LUNCH - RM. 217
6. RED CROSS CLUB - FRIDAY - LUNCH - RM. 302 - Mandatory! New members
welcome!
7. SENIORS: Class shirts will be handed out on Friday, Oct. 3rd. Cost: $12
