Regular Schedule

General

1. The AHS Canned Food Drive - Bring 10 cans at 1 time and get $5 off
your Winter Ball ticket. 60 cans will get you a free Winter Ball ticket.

2. Drop off your old running shoes for Earth Teams shoe recycling drive
all week.

3. Today’s lunch menu: BBQ Beef Sandwich, Deli Sandwiches, Chef Salad &
Hoison Chicken & Rice.

College/Career

1. College visits: Today - Evergreen State, 2pm; Tuesday, Olin College
of Engineering, 8am; Thursday, CSU Sacramento, 1:35pm.

2. Juniors! Next Tuesday, November 18th, Hosana Thomas, a former AHS
student and current sophomore at Cal, will meet with interested juniors
during 7th period in room 201. She’ll discuss the college application
process, college life in general and the UC system. Get a permission
slip in the counseling office if you have a 7th period class.

Clubs/Team Announcements

1. CHEM CLUB - TODAY - LUNCH - RM. 303

2. LEOS CLUB - TUES. - LUNCH - RM. 110

3. There is a new club called Teens2Tots for students who want to
volunteer with children. If you want to join, send an e-mail to
teens2tots@gmail.com.

4. The following club officers need to see Ms. Salas in the bookroom
regarding PTSA mini-grants: Badminton Club, Red Cross Club, Book
Discussion Club, Superheroes Club and Nuts & Bolts Club.
