General
1. The library will be closed during 6th period today and will not be
open after school.
2. Today’s lunch menu: Cheese Burger, Taco Pizza, Chef Salad & Chicken

Freak Dancing — What should our dance rules be? What do students and
parents think about this dance behavior?
SchoolLoop — with SchoolLoop founder & President, Mark Gross — what
can the system do? Why sign up? How could it be tweaked?
Principal’s Report — Cougar Field & Pool update, Homecoming, Emergency
Update, Athletic Advisory Board

4. Reminder: The deadline for applications for PTSA Mini-grants is
October 16th. The application form is available on the school website
(on the PTSA page) or printed copies are available at the front office
counter. Turn in to the PTSA box at the front office.
5. *Student Tutors*: Remember to come to Rm. 203 for Tutor Training
during Advisory today! Please check in with your regular Advisory
teacher first. The reminder note you received yesterday is your Advisory
Pass.
College/Career
1. Students applying to the California State University should attend
the CSU Workshop in the Little Theater at lunchtime today for
application tips and information.

1. AHS TRANSPORTATION INITIATIVE CLUB - TODAY - LUNCH - RM. 217
2. RED CROSS CLUB - TODAY - LUNCH - RM. 302 - Mandatory! New members
welcome!
3. WAU UNITED CLUB - TODAY - LUNCH - RM. 110 - Represent your Country
4. BBQ CLUB - TODAY - LUNCH - RM. 18 - (Art Bldg)
5. SENIORS: Class shirts will be handed out today. Cost: $12
6. JUNIORS: If you haven’t picked-up or ordered your class t-shirt yet,
come today during lunch to the outside of the bookroom window. Cost:$11
7. Attention Lady Basketball Players: Any girl who is interested in
playing basketball this season should come to a meeting today, October
3rd, in room 209 during lunch. The new coach will be there with
information and packets to hand out. Please attend and meet your coach.
Faculty
1. Please excuse the JV football team at 1:50 today for their football game.
