Block B Schedule

General

1. Congratulations Albany Mathletes. We won our October contest against
Piedmont, Bishop O’Dowd, Chinese Christian and Oakland High. Even though
the team was ½ hour late due to traffic and consequently couldn’t answer
the first 2 questions, we took 1st and 2nd place.

2. Cougars Football This Saturday – The Cougars will play St. Patrick /
St. Vincent in a key BSAL game this Saturday, October 25, at Cougar
Field. The JV game begins at 12 noon, followed by the Varsity at 2:30.
Come out and support the Cougars as they battle a tough opponent.

3. SENIORS: The Senior Class picture is today, please remember to wear
yellow and to be on time to Advisory.

4. The library will be closed during all class periods on Monday due to
hearing testing. The library will be open at lunch and before and after
school.

5. 9th, 10th, and 11th grade Advisory Reps — please remember to come to
the Library NOW to learn about Career Day Selection Sheet distribution.

6. Today’s lunch menu: Turkey Cordon Bleu Wrap, Pepperoni Pizza, Chef
Salad & Burger & Fries

7. I-M Flag football playoffs. Tuesday, 10/28 – 2400 vs Flank Steak
Wednesday, 10/29 – Winner of 1st game vs Tuna Can Sam’s

Clubs/Team Announcements

1. RED CROSS CLUB – TODAY – LUNCH – RM. 302 – new projects! Mandatory!

2. E. R. A. CLUB – TODAY – LUNCH – RM. 126

6. We Are Change is holding a meeting today in Rm. 217 to begin drafting
